Vehicle branding turns the cars, vans, buses and trucks you already drive into moving billboards that advertise your business across Sharjah, Dubai, Ajman and Abu Dhabi every single day. K.A.T SIGNS designs, prints and installs every wrap in-house using cast, UV-stable vinyl built for UAE heat, and we handle the RTA and SEDD approvals so your branded vehicles stay on the road legally.
What is vehicle branding and how does it work?
Vehicle branding is the application of printed or cut vinyl graphics to a vehicle’s bodywork to display a company’s logo, colours, contact details and message. It works because your vehicles are already out on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, parked at job sites and moving through every emirate, so the branding earns thousands of impressions a day at a one-time cost. Unlike paid media you rent, a wrap is media you own on an asset you already run. The graphics range from a simple set of door decals to a colour-change full wrap, and everything is produced from vector artwork, printed on large-format machines, laminated for UV protection, and squeegee-fitted panel by panel to the vehicle.

Which type of vehicle branding is right for my business?
The right type depends on your budget, the impact you want and whether the vehicle is company-owned or personal. A full vehicle wrap gives total coverage and a colour change for maximum impact, while partial wraps and decals deliver the essential branding at a lower cost. Businesses running several vehicles choose fleet branding for one consistent look across every unit, and large-format operators use bus and truck advertising. For retail and showroom vehicles, window perforated film adds glass graphics without blocking the view, reflective vehicle branding keeps you visible at night, and magnetic vehicle signs suit personal cars that need removable branding.
Do I need RTA approval for vehicle branding in Dubai?
Yes. Any commercial vehicle branded and driven in Dubai needs RTA approval before it goes on the road, and the vehicle must be registered under the company name on a matching trade licence. The rules require at least 50 percent Arabic text, allow only Arabic and English, and ban branding on the windshield and side windows, though rear perforated film is sometimes permitted. Three-dimensional elements, QR codes and barcodes are not allowed. Approval usually takes three to seven working days, or one to two days for a simple colour change. Driving non-compliant branding risks fines and impound, which is why our RTA and SEDD pre-approval service prepares and submits the whole file for you. You can read the full process in our guide on RTA vehicle branding approval.

How long does vehicle branding last in the UAE climate?
A quality vehicle wrap lasts several years in the UAE, provided it uses cast, UV-stable vinyl rather than the cheaper calendered film that shrinks and cracks under the sun. The Gulf climate is one of the harshest environments for vinyl on earth, with roof temperatures on a parked vehicle climbing far above ambient. We use cast films with a protective laminate specifically because they hold colour and adhesion through that heat cycle. Care is simple: hand wash rather than harsh automatic brushes, park in shade where possible, and address any lifting edge early. Treated well, your branding keeps looking sharp long after a painted alternative would have faded.
