A pole banner is a vertical rectangular banner fixed to a street pole, lamp post or column using bracket arms that hold the banner taut top and bottom. Unlike a free-flying flag, a pole banner is tensioned between two cross-arms so it stays flat and legible, and it is usually mounted in pairs or long repeating runs along a road. Because they sit high on existing infrastructure, pole banners brand an entire street or precinct without taking any ground space — which is why cities, malls and event organisers use them for festivals, national campaigns and wayfinding.
Where are pole banners used in the UAE?
Pole banners suit any linear, high-footfall route where you want a repeated, coordinated message. Common uses include:

A tidy street run comes from good planning as much as good print. We recommend this sequence:
- Confirm pole locations, heights and spacing, and secure any approvals needed.
- Decide how many designs to rotate so the run feels intentional, not repetitive.
- Send artwork; we proof at the correct size for high mounting and legibility.
- We dye-sublimation print on weather-rated fabric and fit the bracket hardware.
- We install along the route across Sharjah, Dubai, Ajman and Abu Dhabi.

How long do pole banners last outdoors?
Pole banners live outdoors for weeks or months at a time, high on a lamp post where nobody is checking them daily, so durability is designed in from the start. We print on weather-rated fabric with UV-stable dye-sublimation ink so colours resist the fading that quickly ruins cheaper street banners, tension the banner between the top and bottom bracket arms so it does not flap itself to pieces, and reinforce the pockets that carry the mounting rods. On a typical campaign a set of banners will comfortably run a full season, and because they are held flat rather than left to fly loose, they keep reading cleanly the whole time. For very long-term district branding we can specify heavier material and stronger fixings to extend that working life even further.
