What is laser cutting best for?
Laser cutting uses a focused beam to slice material with extreme precision and a very narrow kerf, so it excels at fine detail — small text, thin strokes, intricate patterns and tight internal shapes that a router blade simply cannot reach cleanly. It is the method of choice whenever the design lives or dies on crisp detail.
On acrylic in particular, the laser leaves a smooth, flame-polished, glass-like edge straight off the machine, which is why it is preferred for premium acrylic signage, awards, jewellery-style shapes and delicate decorative work.
