What does “outdoor and indoor branding” actually cover?
It covers every branded surface your customers see, inside and out. Outdoor branding is the exterior storytelling — shop signage, building facades, billboards, hoardings, window and floor graphics, and promotional displays that pull people in from the street. Indoor branding is the interior experience — office reception logos, wall graphics and murals, glass frosting, wayfinding and event stands. Do I need government approval for exterior branding in the UAE?
Yes. Any branding fixed to a building exterior or facing a public road needs municipality approval, and in many cases a landlord no-objection letter as well. Signage on major roads or structures often needs RTA involvement too. Two rules catch most businesses out: the shop name on your board must match the name on your DED trade licence exactly, and Arabic is mandatory on public signage — the Arabic text can never be smaller than the English. K.A.T SIGNS prepares and submits this paperwork for you as part of the project, so approvals do not stall your opening date.

Which materials survive the UAE climate?
Marine-grade aluminium, UV-stable print and vinyl, and IP65-rated LED modules. Sharjah and Dubai summers combine intense UV, heat, humidity and coastal salt air, which quickly fades cheap inks and corrodes standard steel. We build exterior signage from marine-grade aluminium and stainless fixings, print with UV-stable, solvent or latex inks, laminate graphics against fading, and seal all electrical work to IP65 so rain and dust cannot get in. The result is branding that still looks new years after installation rather than months.
